Light is my Paint: Series 1

I can imagine getting all nervous if anyone ever commission me to do their photographs. With my sometimes inability to make split second technical decisions, I know I can rely upon knowledge on good compositional concepts and storytelling methods to be able to narrate my point of view to others.

Nevertheless, I really enjoy having iftar with Farah and capture the lighting tones, hues, saturations, contrasts, brightness of her brilliant range of lighting devices that she chose for her new home. These lights bring out the different moods she envision to have to each section in her rather cozy new condo.

The developer decided on monochromatic creamy paints on wall, ceiling, and flooring but Farah successfully highlights these section with fantabulous color choice for the entrance hall (as well as the adjoining hall) paint, furniture, and her lighting as mentioned before. Her color vision extends to the choice of sari cloth that she uses for her curtains. Brilliant!

In all, I am awe at her new nest! It's darn homey and cozy
