Chicken Satay Dinner

The meat was just nice. Not too thick and sweetly marinated. The peanut sauce could be better if it was much more hotter/spicier. The ketupat rice was bad - perhaps it was cook way earlier. You can tell it was the instant ketupat rice. Darn!

The satay was ordered from the Traditional Bali Satay vendor at the Bali Hai on Gurney Drive.

Some local tips to get the best satay in the Penang Island:

1. Get to 'Padang Brown' or also known by locals here as 'Padang Vroom'
2. Get to this satay place nearby the Penang General Hospital and Jalan Kulit. The Malay satay vendor is in a Chinese restaurant/stall.
