1. The much awaited Palm OS6 code named Cobalt might hit the market at the end of quarter three later this year
2. Rumors have it that new Zire and Tungsten models will be released soon
3. Sony Handheld Engines aren't that impressive yet, the TH55 processor's performance slugs the entire experience when Clie Organizer is loaded with lots of PIM data
4. NX series screen size for the UX55, maybe?
5. 'Swappable' GSM/GPRS antenna with the Wi-fi?
6. The Marathon multimedia accelerator that will also support MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and Windows Media will be soon built-in into the processers

Lunch at The Manhattan Fish Market

Thanks to Zaiha and Shahril for recommending me this new eating place in town. Well, for some people it might not be new after all. Anyway, for what it matters, I have never tasted fish and chip so good like what this restaurant serves. And for starters, you might want to try the salmon roast and be prepared to experience something new.

The Executive Lunch meal worth it, I'd say. However, there are other meals that you might want to try out. And I will definitely come here often. Oh, their iced lemon tea taste good too!

The Blogger's Trip to Singapore

I would like to thank Fische for a such wonderful and memorable trip to Singapore. Hehe ... I'd never forget the inicident at the Woodlands immigration checkpoint. To Najah, the chocolates are the one of the best part of the trip. And to Jikon, next time, I'd love to stay at that cool backpacker's hostel and we better catch more exhibitions and art shows at the museums.

Enjoying The Lion City

I am having so much fun at the Lion City. Right now, I am thinking now nice it'll be for me to have a career down here. Live and work here until it I get too much of it. Then move into another metropolitan city, surviving mean, hard life, and getting new perspectives in life.

Anyway, too much thoughts here. I'm gonna get back tomorrow and post the trip pictures. Right now I am gonna get up and read the April 2004 Vanity Fair I got at the Kinokuniya Takashimaya. Till then, nite nite.

Should I focus my life into the studies of learning object? :-) Maybe I should attend the Nobel Prize exhibition and get some inspirations on being creative and finding out novel ideas that I can work on.

The Singapore Trip | Part Seven

Travelling is not about the destination, it is about the journey; it is about the things you see, the events you experience, the people you meet, the places you visit, the satisfaction you obtain, and the lessons you learnt that matter the most.

And more often that not, the journey to your destination always feel longer and lonelier than the returning home part of it. We always have this talk in the car and we always quote my grandma's view point on this. She believes that all the creatures greet and welcome us on our way to our destination, like they are giving you 'salams' or something like that. Nevertheless, a really enjoyable journey will always feel like it is too short compared to a boring one. And I feel that I didn't get enough of this trip.

I remember one summer roadtrip I did, covering most of the States' West Coast. We were in DC and I was assigned as the co-pilot with the task to figure where we were, which avenue, which boulevard, which intersection, and which corner to turn and take, and I made some mistakes.

Maybe, it was lack of planning on my side that I was there and then, studied the map while my friend was driving. So, learning from that mistake, I did some homework the night before we headed for Singapore on Sunday morning. Since, we had earlier figured out our way around Clementi and Woodlands to JB, the task to find the best route to Orchard Road from the Causeway wasn't that hard.
